A theater play about Kirkgate Market – do you want to participate?

ImageWest Yorkshire Playhouse is creating a brand new production to be performed in Leeds Kirkgate Market, based on real life material and personal stories about the Market and its history. 

  • We are looking for a community company to take part in the show. We need 30 people aged 16 and above (no upper age limit!) 
  • Rehearsals will be once or twice a week from February through to April (we will work  around your other commitments). 
  • You would need to be available for performances from 16-20 April.
  • No performance experience necessary just commitment and enthusiasm.

Wednesday 6 February, 5pm-7pm
Saturday 9 February, 12pm-3pm

This is an unpaid, voluntary position for people who work in or who visit the Market on a regular basis.
