what we did yesterday…
Well, what did we do?
In preparation for our event, Shop at Leeds Market Day, we attended a meeting with Sue and Karen, two lovely ladies who are helping us to organise the event in Kirkgate Market.
We discussed some great ideas – like having a display area, a unit as a base for the week, artistic and creative endeavours, and getting involved with traders old and new in some fantastic activities!
We came away feeling positive about the event, and itching to get on with the next stage. We’ve got our next meeting on Monday 4th April at 6pm, and we’d love anyone interesting in contributing to the Shop at Leeds Market event to come along – whether you’re a student, artist, blogger, writer, or just someone who would love to help out! We’ll also be discussing the Eastgate development plans and what this will mean for the future of the market as a whole.
